Data Infrastructure Competences and Skills Framework: a European and Global Challenge
Objective of the Workshop
The workshop will allow EDISON to take stock of the main initiatives and projects in the digital infrastructure ecosystem and map their contributions to the definition of an ambitious European framework for developing skills and competences.
More concretely the workshop will:
- Raise awareness of the importance and value of the Data Scientist profession especially in the context of European research data infrastructure
- Involve multiple stakeholders (including projects) in discussions about the competences and skills required for Data Infrastructures taking the proposed EDISON Data Science Competence Framework as a starting point.
- Establish a coordination framework between data infrastructures and related projects, as well as key industry partners with respect to the Data Scientist profession.
The event is by invitation only. However, there may be a few places available, so if you would like to attend please contact [email protected]
