Data Science

BSc Data Science is designed for able mathematicians with an interest in pursuing sophisticated theory and methods relevant to modern applications requiring large-scale data analysis. It is organised jointly by the Department of Statistics and theDepartment of Computer Science to provide students with the technical skills and insight to operate at the forefront of science, industry and business analytics. Both departments have been ranked in the top three in their respective disciplines in the most recent Research Excellence Framework, which assesses the research of British higher education institutions.
